Philosophy of Care

Answer the question, then explain it.

Patients come to Dr. Milan for one of two reasons: something on a scan needs an answer, or a loved one in the ICU needs a plan. In both cases, his approach is the same — start with the clinical question, gather the right information, and explain what it means in language anyone can understand.

He is one of a small number of South Florida pulmonologists trained to use the Ion™ robotic bronchoscopy platform, allowing him to biopsy small, peripheral lung nodules that would otherwise require surgery — with a same-day, outpatient recovery for most patients.

As an intensivist, he continues to cover ICUs across South Florida. That continuity — from the office, through a procedure, and into the hospital if it's ever needed — is at the center of how he practices.
